To meet Highland Park’s new Long Range Facility Plan, this school expansion included 13 pre-school rooms, administrative areas, and bathrooms. The redesigned main entrance gave the aging facility a modern new look. DCM’s engineers replaced the original heating and cooling plant with a geothermal heat pump system. The innovative design was one of the first successful installations in an American public school. All work completed in just seven months, from the drawing board to completion! AWARDS & PUBLICATIONS: Geotechnical Engineering Quarterly Magazine
