ARCHITECTURAL
Ocean City Residence
Ocean City, NJ

Like many properties along the New Jersey shore, this summer residence on Sunny Harbor was heavily damaged by Hurricane Sandy. To meet more stringent local regulations, DCM was asked to design a new home with an open floor concept 15 feet above street level in its place. The main porch overlooking panoramic views of the bay leads to a series of decks and gardens down to a private dock, swimming pool with hot tub, and fire pit. DCM designed the modern staircase with an oak-wood handrail and stainless-steel aircraft wire along with other custom features, including walk-in closets, an elevator, and entertainment bar.
