RESIDENTIAL
Hill House Apartments
Philadelphia, PA

Built in 1964, the Hill House Apartment Building was in need of major upgrades and improvements. As part of these efforts, the goal was to install new, independent air-conditioning units in each remodeled apartment, however the available systems on the market did not meet the project requirements. DCM designed a non-invasive, easy to maintain system using custom air conditioning units consisting of a small ventilator fan with heating and cooling coils. Discretely tucked into the corner column of each apartment, the system was stacked vertically which saved cost and added ceiling height.
